Salmon River Rafting

We are proud to offer this 3, 4 or 5 day trip through the Salmon River Canyons, the section of the Salmon River that comprises the final 72 miles of the longest free flowing river contained in one state in the Lower 48. You will travel through 4 distinct basalt and granite walled canyons along your journey: Green Canyon, Cougar Canyon, Snowhole Canyon and Blue Canyon. Along the way we will stop to visit Niimiipuu (Nez Perce) cultural sites helping us to learn the history of the second deepest river canyon in North America and the people who have made it their home for thousands of years. Each day you can expect to encounter numerous Class III rapids on this Salmon River rafting trip. In between there is time to take a swim, fish for bass and sit back and take in the natural beauty of the untouched landscape.
