The Middle Fork of the Salmon River and the surrounding Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area is a visually stunning place. The size and scope is the first thing that impresses folks and is ever changing with each bend in the river. The Middle Fork travels through 3 very distinct microclimates causing the flora to change as we travel downstream. During its 105 mile journey the Middle Fork travels through numerous steep walled canyons followed by wide open valleys, each offering the observer it’s own beauty.

We encourage folks to bring along camera’s of your choosing and will provide safe storage for when they are not in use. Idaho River Adventures is lucky to employ artistically minded individuals who have taken a good deal of the images found in this gallery and throughout the website that will be members of the guide crew.
