We are proud to offer this 3, 4, or 5 day long Lower Salmon River rafting trip through the Salmon River Canyons. This section of the Lower Salmon River comprises the final 72 miles of the longest free-flowing river contained in one state in the Lower 48. You will travel through 4 distinct basalts and granite walled Salmon River canyons along your journey: Green Canyon, Cougar Canyon, Snowhole Canyon, and Blue Canyon. Along the way, we will stop to visit Niimiipuu (Nez Perce) cultural sites helping us to learn the history of the second deepest river canyon in North America and the people who have made it their home for thousands of years. Each day you can expect to encounter numerous Class III rapids on this Lower Salmon River rafting trip. In between rapids on the Lower Salmon River, there is time to take a swim, fish for bass, or sit back and take in the natural beauty of the untouched landscape.

The crew will do all of the work needed to make this a memorable and fun vacation including setting up all of the camp, tents and all, and doing all of the food prep and clean up. WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE TRIP PACKAGE?
The Lower Salmon River trip includes: round trip transportation from Lewiston, ID to the put-in and from the take-out at Heller Bar back to Lewiston, all food beginning with lunch day one through lunch on the final day, all needed camping gear including tents, freshly laundered sleeping bags, self-inflating foam core sleeping pads, all kitchen and dining items and all river-related gear including personal floatation devices and helmets when required.
